A reader's perspective on the Keokuk Volunteer Emergency Corps, preserved in the Save KVEC public record.
From the historical comment record.
So any of you actually know the facts?
Doesn't everything go thru the city? How would it be possible to do all the things you say happened?
Do any of you really know Dan or Angie?
From the historical comment record.
I used to be a member. When I was on the Emergency Corps, Dan and Angie had control of all the money that came in. I was the head of maintenance after the last one quit because maintaining the equipment was forbidden once Dan was in charge. In the labor day parade, the airboat trailer still had the same flat tire that it had when I left a few years ago so the money most definitely isn't going towards the equipment.
